ILL-LA-LA DESIGNS was founded in February 2008 by Sheila Denanyoh. It is an ethical clothing line seeking to make a difference through the Looks for Books foundation, and supporting local artisans in and outside Africa. It is  sexy, eclectic, sophisticated and ideal for the woman who is fashionable and conscious.
With a fusion of colorful vibrations and intricate patterns mostly inspired by the African culture, ILL-LA-LA DESIGNS seeks to design for women of all walks of life.
ILL-LA-LA DESIGNS is..."WHAT YOU'VE BEEN WAITING FOR"

About the designer
Sheila was born in the West African country of Ghana. It was while living with her grandaunt and aunt who were both seamstresses that she discovered her love for fashion. At the age of nine Sheila began making very stylish hand sewn dresses for her dolls. She came to the United States at the age of 11 but it wasn't until her freshman year in college that she rekindled her love for fashion designing. With degrees in International Relations and African Studies from the Kent State University she continues to use life experiences as a model for growth and success.
